I specialize in particle dynamics, river plume dynamics, and the complex interactions between physical and biogeochemical processes in marine environments. My research adopts a multidisciplinary approach, incorporating analyses of flow patterns, water properties, chlorophyll-a concentrations, nutrient levels, and the stable isotopes of suspended particles. This integrated approach provides insights into particle transport processes within the source-to-sink (S2S) system in cryospheric environments, particularly in the context of climate-induced warming.  Furthermore, I have a strong interest in long-term open-source data analysis, which complements my experience in working with data from diverse sources, including hydraulic stations in Hong Kong, hydrographic observations from the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA), and the PN-line in the East China Sea.
